5432 Camera

"5432 Camera Animation Workshop" is a promotional video produced on behalf of the Hsinchu City Cultural Bureau.

Aimed at school-age children from elementary school to 4th grade, the film’s production process transformed important positions: director, scriptwriter, cinematographer, lighting, and actors into cute little animals, using fast-paced animation cuts, fantasy transitions, and lively theme songs to show the magic of the film to children. The story of Happy the Hippo’s internship at the shooting site is designed to naturally integrate the basic knowledge of photography into the plot, so that children can learn with ease and pleasure.

The tale of Happy the Hippo travelling to a practice shooting location is meant to seamlessly include the fundamentals of photography into the plot, allowing youngsters to learn photography with ease and enjoyment. Through the promotional video, children can gain a basic understanding of the animation production process and have their interest and curiosity aroused about animation. The practical experience course will allow participating children to gain a deeper understanding of animation principles, drawing images, voice acting, and other steps, and will culminate in the creation of a complete animation video. The goal of the Hsinchu City Culture Bureau, which is to promote education and disseminate knowledge, is realized concurrently with the children’s assimilation of new information.
